As the Human Resource Director, I am responsible for the recruitment, training, conflict management and overall support for the firm.
I grew up in Fredericton and attended UNB studying sociology. I obtained my BA degree in Law in Ottawa. I moved to Calgary and commenced working in litigation with a large national firm. My career has included the City of Calgary’s Labour Law and Labour Relations Department as well as working in the area of insurance defence with a mid size firm.
The main focus of my 20-year legal career has been in conflict and people management working in family law. I studied Human Resource Management in Alberta which allowed me the opportunity to become the firm’s new HR Director. I am also a member of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources NB.
Personally speaking, I returned to my hometown to raise my young son with my husband. I enjoy going to the ocean, traveling with my family, and can often be seen on a spin bike in the gym.
